Garden City Figure Skating Club is in it's 27th year as
a Club.  We are a non profit organization.  
We are a member in good standing of the Metro
Detroit Figure Skating Association, The Tri-States
Figure Association and a registered member of the
United States Figure Skating Association.  

Our mission is:
"Teaching skaters to become champions on ice and
showing them how to become champions in life."  

Joining the club is a great way to improve skating
skills and to make a lot of new friends.   

Membership runs from June to June.  We offer many
different types of membership status:

First Club, Second Club and Associate:

First Club- a member who represents the GCFSC in
skating.  This person receives all the benefits of the
club.  You will also receive membership in the
USFSA and the publication Skating Magazine.  
Membership allows you to purchase freestyle ice at a
discount rate and participate in all the functions, both
on and off the ice.  Members 18 years and older shall
have voting rights.

1st skater (under 18) and one adult $50.00 +
New Member Initiation Fee

Annual Halloween Party
Christmas Show for local schools
Christmas Club Exhibition and Christmas Party
Garden City Annual Competition
May Ice Show
Ice Cream Social
Summer Skate School  (on ice and off ice)
Summer Picnic
Group Outings (Haunted House, Holiday Nights,
Hotel Fun)

Second Club- this is for the individual who has
primary membership in another USFSA club, but
wishes to skate on our club ice.  This also allows you
to purchase ice at a discount rate.

$65.00 +
Mandatory Volunteer Assessment Fee

Associate Membership- This is for the individual who
would like to get started.  This membership allows
you to purchase club ice and compete in Garden
City's home competition and the Christmas School
Exhibitions.

$35.00 +
